Overall Mission
Our mission is to coordinate and deliver community services to the citizens in the inter city of Augusta Georgia, specifically targeting those in poverty as well as those with low-to-moderate income levels. 

Purpose
The primary drive or thrust of this organization is to open up opportunities for clients defined as at risk socially, academically, and economically.  It is the objective of East Georgia Community Initiative, Inc to develop programs that will offer practical solutions to these problems.  Our projects are designed to enhance and increase our clients’ standard of living.  Providing for physical needs such as: food, utilities, and shelter; economic needs such as: literacy, vocational skill training, and needs such as:  personal skill enhancement, financial management training, parenting classes, and nutrition.  Our goal is to enable these citizens and their families to access to a broad range of needed social and educational services through an established coordinated delivery system of federal, state, local and private resources.

Design operational plans that will reduce poverty and economic dependence. Establish collaborative efforts that will develop strong working relationships with neighboring faith-based organizations, 501(c) (3) corporations, associations, foundations and government social services. Decrease the ineffectiveness of multiple duplications of programs, projects and services within our communities.

Empower our clients by providing job placement assistance, creating employment opportunities, and financial support for business development.
